The importance of diversity and inclusion as a driver of positive change, key subjects at the International Forum in Madrid
The International Forum in Madrid brought together business leaders, personalities committed to diversity, inclusion, talent and leadership as drivers of social change at a global level. Organized by @Diversity & Development and led by its president Guillermina Mekuy, in collaboration with the Madrid Chamber of Commerce in its emblematic building, Palacio de Santoña.
Lisa Wang, founding partner of LW Advisers (Link The World Advisers), had the opportunity to participate in a panel with prominent speakers such as Enrique Cerezo, president of Atlético de Madrid football club; Ángel Asensio Laguna, president of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce; Isabel Tocino, lawyer, politician and advisor; Carlos Lamela, president of Lamela Architecture Studio; María José Pérez Cejuela, former Director General for Women in the Madrid Ministry of Employment and International Advisor for Diversity & Development; María Cristina Mikue, African businesswoman; and Celia de Anca, Vice Dean of Ethics, Diversity and Inclusion at IE University.
In her speech, Lisa Wang reflected on the importance of diversity in the world and shared the conception of LW Advisers, a consulting firm specialized in the Chinese market and in EU-China cooperation and investment project advisory. The founder emphasized that the company’s mission is “Connecting worlds, projects and cultures”, seeking to contribute positively to society by fostering intercultural understanding and global collaboration.
